Welcoming To Monmouth County...

The Latino Chamber of Commerce of Monmouth County organized December 1, 2005 a gala event to welcome Luis A Valentin as the new Monmouth County Prosecutor

Luis A Valentin as the Monmouth County Prosecutor express his gratitude for the support provided by all to his office stating that he was very proud to represent the Latino Community and all the people of Monmouth County. He emphasized that justice within the County will be the same for all individuals and that he desires to know all problems affecting the community, which as Prosecutor, he will take them seriously and will proceed to investigating them thoroughly. Special and very important guests were Assemblyman of District 19th and Mayor of the city of Perth Amboy, Joseph Vas and his son, Joseph Vas, Jr. as well as Rush Holt, Congressman for New Jersey. Assemblyman and Mayor of the city of Perth Amboy, Joseph Vas, congratulated the new Prosecutor explaining that at national level 95 % of the people obey voluntarily the law while only 1 % of the people commit 95 % of the crimes. Mayor Vas delivered to Luis A Valentin a NJ Assembly Resolution with greeting and congratulations and wishes for him to serve the County with dignity and honor, working closely with the community through communication rather than intimidation.

The business owners exchanged ideas, business cards and distributed brochures while enjoying an excellent dinner, the folklore dances and the socializing with members of the community and the government which ensured the success of the event for all participants.
