Classical Marimba Concert Wine Tasting and Networking Event a Complete Success
| The classical Marimba concert, wine tasting and networking event organized by the Monmouth County Art Council and the Latino Chamber of Commerce was an outstanding event with an attendance reaching over 120 people. The marimba instrument was exceptionally played by the marvelous hands of Leigh Howard Stevens and Nora Clerc who in a solo and/or twosome played selections of the famous composers Bach, Tchaikovsky and other modern composers. |
| The site was the newly renovated Kirby House in Elberon, one of Monmouth County’s magnificent mansions with over thirty rooms. Appreciation screams and applauses followed each presentation with many attendees stating that they have never been exposed to the marimba sounds. All participants enjoyed and were delighted with the sounds of marimba. |
The event as usual was an occasion to meet Latino Chamber of Commerce members under one roof to discuss business opportunities, exchange business cards, find out what others were doing and discuss their own business expertise while enjoying the concert along with a glass of wine. As shown in the above photograph, other important personalities of the Monmouth County government, academia, industry and community at large attended the event.
